SERVES: 8-10

INGREDIENTS:
½ tablespoon oilGarlic powder (to taste)
½ lb ground turkey
1 can tomato paste (6 ounces)
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes (14 ounces)
1 can crushed tomatoes (14 ounces)
1 ½ cup water (or chicken broth)
8 ounces chopped mushrooms
Salt & pepper (to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
Cook onion in oil in large pot for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic & cook for 1 minute. Add ground turkey & cook until no longer pink, 6-7 minutes.
Add tomato paste & salt/pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring until combined.
Add diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, mushrooms & water. Stir until combined.
Bring the sauce to a boil & then reduce to low & simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
*Freeze in gallon size Ziploc baggies for later use*
